The Secrets to a Luxurious and Productive Morning

The way you start your morning has a major impact on the rest of your day. Many of the world’s most successful people utilize the same morning habits to get them in the right mindset for a highly productive day. As luxurious women, we want to practice those habits, but with a luxurious twist. Don’t go through life on autopilot. Go through life with intention and purpose. Follow these simple steps to have a luxurious and productive morning. Change your morning routine in a way that works for you, follow through on those practices every day, and create a morning ritual that feels luxurious and intentional each morning.

Silence – carve out 5-10 minutes for peaceful and purposeful silence each morning. A few minutes of silence each morning allows you to reflect, set intentions, and get clarity about what you want your day to look like. This makes it easier to decide what’s most important. Before you reach for your phone to scroll mindlessly through your emails or social media, take a few minutes to enjoy the silence of the morning. Give yourself a corner in your bedroom that has a nice comfy chair or stay in your bed, but give yourself a space and time to just reflect in silence.

Affirmations – affirmations are written or verbal statements of results you want; they are positive thoughts or statements that can help you deal with negative thoughts, feelings and situations. Write or say your affirmations in the present tense, as if you already have them. Your affirmations will be personal to you and reflect your conscious and unconscious mind to challenge you, motivate you, and push you to create your full potential in life. Research shows that positive thinking can rewire your brain, changing the way you feel about things.

Visualization – helps you prepare visually and mentally for what the day has in store for you. Visualization is a very powerful technique that you can use to improve your life. It allows you to orient your mind and mindset toward whatever you want to get. By imagining yourself in a certain situation, you can actually get yourself there in real life.

Exercise – this can be your regular workout routine or just a few minutes of yoga/tai chi/walking. Moving in the morning can give you the natural energy you need to get through your day. Walking, itself, has been show to stimulate the flow of ideas.

Reading – read a few pages each morning. Highly productive people never stop learning. Reading just a few minute in the morning can keep the mind a well-oiled machine.

Journaling (5 minutes) – each morning, take 5 minutes and write down three things you are most grateful for and the three most important things you need to accomplish today. Allowing yourself to have gratitude for what you already have allows you to attract more of that. Purchase yourself a journal that feels luxurious to you or reflects the mindset you want to create.
